This torch ships directly from Nortel in Canada which can increase shipping time. Due to recent tariffs on Canadian imports, local carriers may charge additional fees at the time of delivery. We have been told that fees can vary based on what items are purchased, location shipped to and which shipping service is used. We have no way to calculate the fees and we don’t even know if they will be charged on all shipments or just some. Hopefully this situation will change but for the time being, only purchase this product if you are willing to be responsible for those possible fees. If not, please consider one of the American made brands that we carry such as GTT and Bethlehem.
Minor Bench Burner w/ Barbed Fittings
Developed by Peter Norton in the 50’s, this solid workhorse torch made a home lampworking studio an affordable possibility. Reliable, virtually indestructible, this torch is in use by the majority of lampworkers and teaching studios.
Specs: Surface mix, 7 port. Natural Gas and Oxygen or Propane and Oxygen (bottled or concentrator).
Cleaning & Maintenance. Cleaning the tubes with a fine needle tool (included with the torch) is all that is required.
Use: For lampworking beads, small sculpture, marbles, from small up to 3 inches. Primarily for use with soft glass.
