This pint sized unit was designed for small scale glass work such as marbles, pendants, beads, figurines, vessels, small parts and components. It’s also great for traveling with, using for demos, classes, or a prep kiln on the workbench in tight spaces. The Ultra Micro Hopper has a single (flip up) hinged door and single (flip down) hinged point rest, currently the smallest front load lamp working model available on the market and a first of it’s kind with full brick construction, no fiber insulation used which is responsible for significant heat loss and often found in economy models. Unlike a majority of our lamp working models, the Hopper series doesn’t have a guillotine door with arms and counterweight which gives it a very compact footprint. All parts and hardware are laser cut and custom made for each model, no off the shelf parts commonly used with production kilns. Whether this is your kiln or you’re adding another specific piece of equipment to your shop, this model is functional, durable, dependable, efficient, meticulously designed, and focuses on value.
